Dr. Carpenter ordained me into the ministry of the PH Church on June 14,1990 at what was then the Western NC Headquarters in Brown Summitt, NC. When he laid his hands on me and began to pray the Holy Ghost came upon me and I danced before the Lord and those present. I will never forget that moment in time. Thirty years later the anointing is still with me. God has called His servant home. May God comfort the family during their time of grieving.

Dr. Ron Carpenter was a man whose very name carried respect and expectation. He will always be loved and greatly missed.

Dr. Carpenter was a man that you could not leave the atmosphere of where he was without being inspired. HIs passion was extremely contagious and the IPHC is truly blessed to have had him as a pastor, leader, and Bishop. Every time I think of him I recall the scripture that fits him "Follow me as I follow Christ

Dr.Ronald Carpenter was my Conference Bishop for 12 years, and I served as WIN Director under his Leadership for 12 years. He was a man of Prayer & Intercession, and we had many prayer times together at the Conference Office. When we prayed together, I discovered his Hallmark Heart, Sincere Spirit, and Love for Mankind. He was a Prince of a Man in the Kingdom of God. Precious memories of his Passionate Pursuit will linger on in our hearts, in Upper SC. "Shout for me, Bishop!" This was his favorite saying to all of us. We will miss him immensely.

I always gleaned a lot from Ron's teaching, and I am sad that I will not be able to hear from him until I am also in the place he is in now... God bless you Ron and your family....

I have a very special memory of the humility of Bishop Carpenter as he restored a pastor at one time, who was my great friend. The last time I talked to him, he was at the dedication of Tree of Life Ministries in Lynchburg, and once again, was joking, hugging, and showing first name respect, as always, love and Humanity. I will miss Him. My prayers are for all his family members. He touched Heaven Here on Earth...

I am very sadden by the loss of Bishop Carpenter. I had the privilege of getting to know him since he became the Presiding Bishop. He spoke at Northwood Temple for Pastor Hedgepeth and then for Falcon Camp meeting and I enjoyed it so much. He was a precious man of God and blessed me and my husband by praying for him. He was always so easy to speak with and always had a HUGE smile. It was so wonderful to see him at Accelerant last January. I will never forget him and his loving nature. He truly was a blessing to everyone he touched!
