27th General Conference

Dr. Doug Beacham, General Superintendent

We look forward to welcoming you to Dallas, Texas for the 27th General Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church! This will be our first time to meet in the Lone Star state for our General Conference.

The IPHC family continues to grow in the United States and globally. With strong ministries on every inhabited continent, the sun never sets on IPHC congregations as we do our part in telling the Good News of Jesus Christ and manifesting His love and grace through our deeds of service.

Building upon Target 2000 and Mission 21, Vision 2020 has become a dual marker for us as we "Live, Move, and Be" for God's glory:

  • First, Vision 2020 calls our attention to clear sight, clear vision, and clarity of motive and mission. We are becoming a "missional movement" as we more clearly recognize we are citizens of Christ's Kingdom and represent His righteousness and glory in whatever human sphere we live.

  • Second, Vision 2020 reminds us that we are less than seven years from the end of the first two decades of the 21st Century. As a time marker, it provides us a reference point to measure our efforts for Christ. Thus, we have goals and objectives, rooted in God's Word and established in prayer and prophetic listening, that must be taken seriously.

As we gather in Dallas, let us gather with a sense of the Holy Spirit's presence as we do the business of the church. Let us gather with a sense of worship as we glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Let us gather with confidence that the Holy Spirit will direct all we do so that we are better prepared to fulfill Christ's mandate to us.

A. D. Beacham, Jr.
Presiding Bishop
