The following is an update of relief support activities for this reporting period:

1. S.C. Mobile Feeding Kitchen (MFK)- reports that for the evening meal on Sept 4th there were 2,700 meals fed-no Red Cross ERVs used. For lunch today there were 3,250 meals prepared and served, both to walk ins and for Red Cross ERVs. Refrigeration unit and supply trucks are anticipated shortly

2. Mississippi Conference—In the report for Sept 4 there were three churches that had not been heard from, two of those now are reporting in: Ocean Springs reports 2 families have lost everything, the church suffered water damage inside-although they held services in it on Sunday. Power and water have been restored in this area... The church in Picayune reports seven families have lost everything-with a need for clothes and baby diapers. The Red Cross is expected in their area today which will assist with the food needs. The church in Pascagoula still has not been heard from.

3. Mid South Conference-Due to a loss of communications with the reporting site- today’s activity report will be included on September 6

4.  Alpha Conference- Conference DRUSA has completed his visit of the Moss Point area and the distribution site  and MFK operation. He will send in a detailed update of operations in that area tomorrow.

5. Upper South Carolina Conference- the Iva PHC has a MFK support team leaving Tuesday morning for Moss Point, Al. A second MFK support team is tentatively laid on to deploy the second week in October.
