Tropical Depression Jeanne‑ remnants of Jeanne moving out into the Atlantic...flood warnings in effect for several rivers on Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina and Florida...at 11:00 a.m. EDT the remnants of Jeanne were located about 200 miles East of New York City..moving toward the Eastward at 30 mph..maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph..rainfall associated with Jeanne is expected to end Wednesday evening over Southern New England... 2. Tropical Storm Lisa..near hurricane strength..at 11:00 a.m. AST the center was about 1220 miles West‑Southwest of the Azores..movement is toward the North near 12 mph..maximum sustained winds are near 70 mph.. Lisa has a chance of becoming a hurricane again later today or tomorrow.. a. Florida State Emergency Response Team update..a, Sheltering‑ 60 general shelters with 3,665 evacuees‑26 special shelters with 1,034 evacuees. b.Fatalities and Injuries‑ 5 fatalities are confirmed. c. Power Outages‑ 966,232 customers without power. d. Flooding‑many counties reported flooding. B. IPHC Items‑ 1. The South Carolina Mobile Feeding Kitchen (MFK)‑ on Tuesday the MFK fed 7,400 meals‑ 1,400 being walk‑ins and 6,000 being distributed by American Red Cross ERVs. There seems to be some reduction in meals expected over the next few days. 2. Sonshine Conference‑currently working on a stand by MFK team for this weekend. 3. Alpha Conference‑(a) MFK teams‑previously reported from Alpha churches remain on site in support of the MFK.(b) Alpha Conference Superintendent has made a request for financial assistance based on damages reported to the 17 churches.... previously reported. C. Lessons Learned‑ In the DRUSA Manual‑ Chapter 9 contains the "Disaster Recovery Team Deployment Packet".
