In Matthew 9:36 we read about the ministry of Christ and his reaction to his followers. “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Eugene Peterson in the Message in referencing compassion says, “His heart broke” when he saw the crowd.
Compassion is defined as entering into another’s pain. When was the last time that our hearts broke when encountering a hurting person or persons? IPHC Men’s Ministries is committed to reaching and equipping “hurting” men who are looking for answers and solutions to life’s problems. The mandate of “making disciples” is the driving force that keeps Men’s Ministries on the cutting edge of producing resources and implementing effective training for men in the local church.
